Collection: Krishna

Lord Krishna, also known as Sri Krishna or simply Krishna, is a central figure in Hinduism and one of the most revered and beloved deities. He is considered the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu, the preserver, and protector of the universe. Krishna is highly venerated for his divine qualities, teachings, and extraordinary feats, making him a prominent figure in religious scriptures, folklore, and cultural traditions.

Krishna's birth is celebrated as Janmashtami, marking his incarnation on Earth to fulfill his divine purpose. He is believed to have been born in Mathura, India, over 5,000 years ago. The life of Krishna is beautifully depicted in the epic scripture, the Bhagavad Gita, which records his teachings and conversations with Arjuna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra.

Krishna is often portrayed as a charming, playful, and mischievous young boy with a radiant smile, an enchanting flute, and a peacock feather adorning his hair. He is also depicted as a valiant warrior, a wise counselor, a compassionate friend, and a loving guide.
