Collection: Lord Vishnu

Lord Vishnu, one of the principal deities in Hinduism, is revered as the preserver and protector of the universe. Known for his role in maintaining cosmic order, Vishnu is part of the Holy Trinity (Trimurti) alongside Brahma the creator, and Shiva the destroyer. Vishnu's essence embodies compassion, mercy, and benevolence, ensuring the stability and harmony of the world.

Lord Vishnu's ten avatars, known as Dashavatara, illustrate his commitment to restoring dharma (cosmic law and order). Among these avatars are Rama and Krishna, whose life stories and teachings are central to Hindu spirituality and mythology. Each avatar signifies a divine intervention at a critical time in the cosmic cycle, underscoring Vishnu's role as a savior and sustainer.

Devotees of Vishnu, often referred to as Vaishnavas, celebrate numerous festivals in his honor, including Janmashtami and Rama Navami, which mark the births of Krishna and Rama, respectively. Temples dedicated to Vishnu are spread across India, with notable ones including Tirupati Balaji and the Srirangam temple. Lord Vishnu's worship is characterized by the chanting of hymns, singing of devotional songs, and performing various rituals to seek his blessings for a prosperous and harmonious life.
